Hawk's Performance Ceramics are billed as having less dust than HPS . . . and less stopping power (Tire Rack Link vs HPS link). Less noise than HPS is claimed, which doesn't appear to get universal agreement from end user reviewers. From my experiences, HPS don't make any noise at all, assuming that you bed them in as recommended.

I have no experience whatsoever with Power Stops in any compound. Sorry.

The mechanics said the creaking was coming from inside the calipers.

And flash, i have a 2011 which has the same as the 2012's base brakes so that would be no change for me.

I could get the 2013 gt500 brakes which are 15 inch front rotors and 6 piston brembos, but thats about 1200$ and would add like 20+ lbs unsprung rotating mass to my setup.
What are you using the car for?

How would these compare to the carbotech?

I can avoid hard high speed braking if necessary, i do want low dust and low noise.
They do not I suggest you go with the Carbotech 1521 pad for street use. The 1521 is a low dust performance street pad that is ceramic based and contain carbon and Kevlar. I sell hundreds of sets to the corvette community. This pad is good to 900 degrees that's a lot of heat on the street. Price and pad description is below if you would like to order a set use GT500 at check out here http://ampdautosport.com/brake-pads/ford/#filterJump and save 5% or just call me at 216-780-8824 to order.
