Default heated seat not warming up

My 2012 has heated seats. I push the button to turn on the driver's side, the light illuminates but I cannot feel the seat heating up after a couple of minutes. Any ideas why?

Mine quit on the drivers side! There are two red or black relays under the driver's seat, you might be able to reach them, I wound up taking out the driver's seat to check them. If they are getting voltage, you can feel them click-you can exchange the driver's side and the passenger's side relay to see if the relay is the prob. I did not get as far as finding the wiring for the heater element, if you have the right location you can check it with an ohmmeter.

My stangs don't have heated seats but my FX4 does. There is an air filter under the seat for the airflow, so maybe check to make sure that filter isn't clogged.
