Default A/C went out on new Mustang...

So I have a 2014 Mustang (new to me at least), the heat and fans work but it does not blow cold air. Being I live in a FL, this sucks...
I have obviously read all the horror stories about people bringing their cars to the Ford Service Centers for warranty repairs. So am I a little worried about that.

Are there any trouble shooting tips anyone could give me? I tried Youtube but not much...

ALL the Service Centers aren't THAT bad, right?

If it's under warranty take it in.

Probably has a small leak of freon in it.

I've had some challenging experiences in dealing w/2 different Ford dealerships here on the Treasure Coast regarding some niggling complaints I had w/my '14 GT. The magic words to tell the adviser is "I'm not satisfied & when I'm called for my survey, I'm going to tell them so." For some strange reason, they get really helpful & cooperative after that.

That rating is big $$ to the dealership.

You shouldn't be having any issues w/your a/c @ this point. Take it back to the dealer.

So I found out my evaporator coil is leaking/bad? They need it overnight to work on.
How does that go "bad" on a 1.5yr old Mustang?

The evaporator coil is under the dash and well protected from damage. Like it was defective at manufacture or damaged slightly during assembly of your vehicle.

New does not mean perfect. Anything is prone to failure.

The world is an imperfect place. Screws fall out.

My company produces the HVAC unit for 80% of all North American market Ford vehicles, including the Mustang. The failure rate of brand new evaps (shipped to our plant from the suppliers) is much greater that you'd believe.
