Default 2005 GT drag wheel/tire specs?

I've got a problem...no traction off the line. I was hoping to go to a track about an hour away in a few weeks to attempt and run my first official 1/4 mile times. At present I have 275/40 19 Pirelli Rosso's on the rear, but they spin like crazy when I brake to 2000rpms and then floor it (obviously I have and auto...4.10 gears, vortech, etc). I have tried different launch techniques, but will little variability. On my G-Tech (averaging two runs up and back over the same strip of road), I'm consistently running around 12.56 at 113-114.5. 60 ft. times are hovering around 2.0-2.1 due to the spin. I would hope to due better on the track and with better hook-up. I was thinking about getting MT ET drag radials around 26x10 or so, probably on a 15" rim. Any suggestions (especially any knowledge of what to use on an '05 size wise)? I'm going to go up with a friend, so I can drive on the regular tires, make a few runs, and then stick on the others for comparisone. At 40 I'm new to the track, so any feedback is appreciated. Anyone know what woulde be likely given the trap speeds? Thanks...
