Default Question about tunes and intakes!

i have a 2007 ford mustang gt and i have a question. so i have an SCT X4 tuner and i have an airaid 450-172 cold air intake for my car and as of right now it has an MVT in it that makes it able to run with out a tune but i want to take it out and tune it but there isnt an option for an airaid intake on the intake selection screen. has anyone else had this problem? i dont really have much done to my car so i dont really want to buy tunes yet but is there any way around this? without the MVT insert the intake is 101mm, can i just choose an intake that is the same size as this or do i need to buy the tunes or a new intake?

Tune myself how? When i plug the tuner in it comes up with a menu and i click program vehicle and then it brings up another screen with only one option (mustang 4.6L 3v). So i click on that and it brings up a bunch of options speed limiter, rev limiters, sparks, intakes, etc. Well in the intakes it doesnt have an option for airaid or roush.

You have to load a tune file into the tuner to be able to do anything.

Also I'm not sure which screen you're talking about on the X4...I've seen the one where you adjust the parameters like spark, idle, etc, but not one for intakes.

Just order a tune from AM for your handheld. Its simple and will produce nice results with that year.
