Default 2005-10 Ford Mustang Blowfish Racing Shifter Support Bracket

Has anybody seen this? Looks interesting. It's also a driveshaft safety loop. I think this is good for somebody with a stock shifter like me but I'm not sure if it's overkill for someone with something like an MGW. What do you think?

Back when I had my old trans, and MGW, I would still have the linkage bind up on me from time to time. Especially in very spirited driving. I installed the CHE torque limiter K Member brace, and it all went away. So I guess this would work to solve the problem, just in a different way.

I had the CHE torque limiter on my car but had to remove it because it didn't work with my BMR K-member. The torque limiter is now sitting in my garage. Anyway, from what you're saying, I guess it's not overkill after all to have an MGW and this shifter support bracket. I think I know where my tax money is going. lol

Definitely would work. The dam bind that the remote shifting linkage is prone to is just so annoying during spirited driving. I also had to get rid of my CHE torque limiter when I switched over to the BMR K member.

Have the Magnum XL now, and the shifting has never been easier. It's just a costly alternative though. My stock tranny was beginning to fail, so I bit the bullet, and switched over to it.

Wow, I'm interested I've got a MGW and still getting into 4th at the strip is a chore. Wonder why I've never seen this before.

I hope to get the Magnum XL someday along with a built motor. We'll see.

It's a new product that just came out. I check LMR.com and other Mustang sites every week.

This may or may not help but, I have the blow-fish racing bracket on my 13 5.0 and it took the binding issue completely away for me. I also swapped the stock shifter out for the Hurst unit and that took some of the mush out of the shifter as well. Only pain in the butt part was running the wires for the reverse light under the carpet and splicing it into the tail lights.
