The cap does not have a dipstick to measure how full it is. We filled ours about 1" below the top of the tank when cold. This will allow some room for expansion as the fluid warms up. We haven't seen any overflow problems at this time.

Its easy to look inside the tank and see you have fluid. Power stering fluid should not evaperate. Ford uses dex trans fluid. You will not find a higher quality part than these. Dare I say you wont find an alum tank like this any a better price and that includes the ones that are way lower in quality.
We don't make money on these - We are putting them out there to show our workmanship

So . . . no sight glass, no dipstick, just the individual's own ability to peer down through a small pipe into an opaque container to estimate where the fluid level might be?
If the PS fluid level drops - gradually or otherwise - evaporation isn't the problem. So it's a bit misleading to even mention that.

I must say you guys make some nice looking replacement fluid reservoirs and expansion tanks but, as Norm mentioned, they're not easy to work with.
None of your upgrade products from your site that I see offer the convenience of a sight glass or dipstick which means you can't simply look under the hood to do a visual inspection.
You have to, open the hood, open each individual tank then determine/guess (with a flashlight) if the fluid level is at the correct level and/or steady from the last time you checked it. The average user (including me) isn't going to want to do that.

The hole is not small
You do not need a flashlight to see fluid level
The power steering fluid will not disappear nor evaporate at a level that cant easily be seen by removing the cap.
If you guys place your orders TODAY and specify you need a dipstick inside I will create and include them. Now ball is in your court
These parts add durability and great looks. They are way better then the factory stuff by a long shot - if that means you need to look down the large (not small) hole to easily observe fluid levels - its a very tiny price to pay - good news for you guys - I will add a dipstick - but you do not need it.
Hope to see your orders today - p-lease call them in at 805-486-6644
