Default Best upgrade parts? Front rotors and pads to reduce fade.

Everyone has an opinion, tell me yours and why. Mostly spirited street driving, occasional friendly track days. This is a daily driver. I'm leaning toward slotted rotors rather than drilled due to the cracking issues.

And go...

RBF600 fluid, good pads, and cooling. Slotted rotors can wait as they won't provide any noticeable benefits for your type of driving.

Hawk HP pads. Don't worry about the slotted rotors. Flush and fill brake fluid with a good DOT 4.

I run the gold branded ceramics they have at autozone. Dot 4 fluid, steel lines, blank rotors. Daily driven, occasionally tracked.

Why not go to 5.1 fluid with the flush and fill?

You can, but you'll have to change it much more frequently.

Last thing you want to do. Stick with what the factory recommends regarding Dot numbers. Actually, the FOMOCO brake fluid has a relatively high boiling point and I've never experienced problems with it. Hawk HP or HP+ pads are awesome.

Do you have the track pack brakes or the standard GT brakes?
