Sct x4 no power when plugged in

Sct x4 no power when plugged in
When I plug the unit into the obd2 port, nothing happens. I've never used a tuner and may very well be doing something wrong. I do have a code scanner and that works just fine when I plug it into the same port. Kind of at my wits end so whatever advice you all can provide would be appreciated.

Easy, slow down, you can **** **** up rushing here.
Does the unit power up when you plug it into your computer via the USB cable supplied? If so, it is the OBD2 cable or the connectors for it. Most likely the cable itself. Look inside the big connector for any bent or broken pins. This happens more often than you'd think. SCT or your vendor should be able to provide a replacement cable.

Call SCT support then. It may well just need a new OBD2 or the plug in the box isn't working. Either way, they are best positioned to guide you. I found them quite reasonable to deal with, though they did charge me $150 to unlock my old X3 that was left married by the PO.
