Default Suggestion for new Clutch ?

Hi all,

I'm planning to change my stock clutch to a new clutch, but still I didn't decide yet any suggestions ?

My car is bolt-ons
Kooks longtube headers, cobra jet intake manifold, super cobra jet throttle body, JLT cobra cold air intake and Roush exhaust.

Thanks

Mcleod RST.

No other clutch has had such great support, feel, performance and reliability.

I have run spec in a few applications and not had an issue. Good price to performance. The Mcleod is nice, but cost considerably more.

Do the servo and the bearing too.

Actually, found this while looking:

Exedy is nice, and I have heard plenty of people praise this clutch, good deal with the servo included.

Run a Spec SS trim in my 11, recommended by my tuner, have had no issues with it.

The Spec 2 and 2+ are notorious for being crap in our cars. The 3 and 3+ have been decent with no complaints that I can recall.

Do a search and I'm sure you'll find plenty of complaints.

If you put in the Mcleod you would probably never need another clutch.

I like the Exedy 350. My car is mildly boosted, daily driver. Clutch has a stock feel, but grabs well.

Paired it with a billet steel flywheel.

You'll probably do this anyway, but replace the flywheel, slave cylinder / throwout bearing, crank bolts, and pilot bearing while everything is apart.
