I have a 07 mustang gt with 4.10s,jlt intake and tune,o/r x with m80 mufflers and tb spacer. My buddy has a 2012 v6 mustang with jlt intake and tune and o/r x pipe. with stock gears. Who would win and by how much.

Is the 07 auto or manual? Tires stock? Rolling start or drag style? But i also agree with above poster, "just take them to a T&T night and find out'

Both Automatics or stick? Several ratios were available for the 2012 V6, the 2.73's are much slower out of the hole than the 3.31s. My best 0-60 time is 5.1 seconds, 6 speed 3.7 with the 3.31s and 9"x18 Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

Both cars are Manual v6 has 2.73 gears and we would probably do like a 40 pull

Driver's race.I can usually beat them if I manage to get the car to hook off the line, but with a car set up for road racing it's hard to hook up. Those V6's are fast though.

I'd vote for the GT, the 2.73 gears are death.

If both cars are manual, then you both have 3.31 axle gears. Both cars have similar HP, the '07 GT has more TQ, but the '12 V6 can wind to higher rpm so it'll be a driver's race.
I suggest you both race first in your own cars and then swap cars for the next race. Do a 30-70mph rolling pull.
