Getting kicked out of the garage need a good car cover
Guys,
My wife just got a new car and I need a high quality long lasting car cover for my 2005 mustang vert. I live in Huntsville, AL so I need a cover that can withstand sun and rain and a bit of winter weather. I've been looking and it's overwhelming. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

I have used this one from AnythingAuto.com

Whatever you get, make sure you get at least a 4 year warranty. Covers that are used outside all the time typically last for about a year. They may not look like it needs replacing but when you start to see dust particles, it's the fabric breaking down and time to replace it. I too have to keep my stang outside. It is a bite but when my business sells, it's going in the garage. Tip, make sure you always wipe down your car each time you put the cover on. This will keep dirt from getting embedded in the fabric. I'm getting ready to order another one.

I have this one from Coverking its very light and folds easily.
Make sure you have zero dust and have very good layer of wax or sealant. Look at the video on use of a California duster by the junkman to prevent scratches. Avoid applying in very windy conditions. Check the proper way to remove and apply the cover.

I can't argue with the previous response. Just wanted to say I had a daily driver '78 BMW which I sold in '07. I covered it daily for at least of 20 of those years. I did tend to wash it once a week.
My "tip" would be to put the cover on the roof, and then "flop" it out to the rest of the car, then to "flop" it back to the roof when removing. Never drag it over the paint. I never noticed any scratches that I attributed to the cover. FWIW
