Upgrade a 500 to a 1000?

Upgrade a 500 to a 1000?
Do you need the head unit, or just the box out back to do the upgrade? Is all the wiring already there to just put the 1000 enclosure in the trunk? I doubt it, but you never know!

I believe you'll need the box and the amp. The head unit should be the same. Check around the right side of your trunk for a stray connector. I tried to see behind mine for you, but I can't get behind it without unmounting. I do see some green and black wires that connect to the box, but that might just be from the amp to the sub. The wires to the amp are probably a different color, but you never know.
Best thing to do is get back there and start searching. It wouldn't be very cost effective for the factory to use two separate harnesses for the same car, so it's probably there. Good luck!
