Default Low noise from front end when turning slow in parking lots

Car is at 125,000 miles. When turning slowly in parking lots, i've started getting a noise that seems like its coming from the steering column. Sounds like a low pitched squeal or rubbing. I can sort of feel it at my feet as well. I thought maybe to do with the power steering? The power steering fluid is at proper fill level. Perhaps related to the rack and pinion? What should I look at? Thanks!

Is it just happening when you are turning the steering wheel or when you are holding the wheel in the turned position like if you were going in a circle?

Only when turning the steering wheel. It comes and goes, hasn't done it in a few days now.

Bleed the power steering and see if it continues. Could be a bad power steering pump. Another thing to check out is have a buddy in the car while it's on jacks. Have him turn the steering wheel and see if you can see any rubbing going on. I would do that before I bleed the power steering or go after a pump.

With the car on or off? If I'm in Park, isn't there some sort of steering wheel lock? I suppose I could go to Drive, as long as the E-brake is engaged?

Have you ever flushed your power steering fluid? Start there, if the problem persists, then look at a failing component.
