Default Trufiber A44 hood

Good afternoon
everyone been looking at the trufiber A44 hood and was wondering if they still make wavy hoods or there better now ? Love the look but don't wanna have to over spend to make it look right ! I'm not a big fan of the look of the cervinis type IV but heard cervinis makes quality stuff !!! If any one has any hoods they would recommend or advice on trufiber I'd love to hear it !

I have that hood. The body shop mentioned no problems when having it painted and installed. Looks great.

I considered a 2 1/2 inch Cervini GT500 cowl hood for a long time. A local here has a similar GT hood. It's one wall thick. I spotted a Trufiber 3 inch cowl hood for a GT500 on Ebay. I purchased that one a couple of years ago. A friend had to prep and paint it. Turned out beautiful. It's double walled and stronger (Friend's Cervini bent in the middle from heat). For me I thought it was worthwhile to get the Trufiber.20140718_112330.jpg

My only complaints about fiberglass hoods are the extra weight vs OEM, Hood struts not recommended and the prep time. Some are really cool looking though. I just drilled a hole on my OEM hood for the GT500 vent
