should I wait for cervini's side exhaust or go with a rear axle back
I've been waiting now for 5weeks with no news on when the exhaust(side) kit from Cervini's will be on it's way=( I keep hearing they are haveing problems with the tips and I tell them they should have had all this taking care of way before selling them! I've already paid them $1300.00=( Anyhow I woundering if I might just do a axle back exhaust system. I like the Flowmaster but on their website they say that they are unsure if you make any HP improvements.

well the side ones definitly look cooler (yes i will use that word)
but if it has no hp gain...i dont know...because that is a lot of money for just the looks of ur exhaust

$1300 for an exhaust in general is outragious. I say cancel it. Then either go with another brand rear exit exhaust (my vote is for Bassani) or wait it out and see who else ends up making a side exit exhaust. I guarantee there will be ones just as nice for less than $1300!

What I do like about Cervini's is that the magnaflow exhaust(axle back) is made for this car and does not require like most to bend and weld pieces togather. I know that Blow By Racing does a great job but the rear section is the full bumper which is going to cost me more to paint.

I'll bet you loose power with a side exhaust. To bring the pipes out the side it will be neccesary to place sharper bends in the exhaust which isn't good for flow. The stock routing of the pipes is pretty good. Most people are finding that is is next to impossible to improve on the flow of the stock system, so unless you are going for just apperance and/or sound you are wasting your money.
I would have to see the side exhaust before I would spend a dime on it.

I'm in the same situation, Dan. I've only been waiting 4 weeks though, but they give me the same excuse.
