Mustang leak - new place

Hey Guys,

I have water filling up in what sounds like my rear, left quarter panel. If you are sitting in the back seat, behind the driver, is sounds like it is right next to you.

Does anyone have any idea of where the water could be coming in at? It drains very slowly from a spot just in front of the rear wheel on the drivers side.

I spoke to the dealer and a water leak repair guy and they have no idea where it would be coming in.

Thanks for the help.

Francis

Usually it's the quarter window seal.

The dealer is stupid, this is a common leak area besides the cabin air
filter area.

Do I have to remove the window to fix?

Well, that depends... How do you want it to look?

You can squeeze silicone in that gap around the window, but then you will need
to do the other side too so it looks even... One tube of black would work, and
cut the nozzle to the size that fits in the gap, so when you squeeze it in, you're
getting it in there good. It's what I would do, just saying. I would also do the
other side to match. Else, yes, the window comes out to reseal it.

I started a thread asking for any help doing this.

Thanks for the point in the right direction.
