Default Roush vs GT500 for value

Hello all! I'm likely going to be buying some sort of Mustang from 2005 to 2009 within the next month or so. I thought about buying a regular GT 5-speed and putting a supercharger in, but I think I would be better off getting one of the Roush or GT500 models. From everything I've read people seem to like the GT500 better and they certainly seem to hold their value better. However, I feel like the Roush might be a better deal for a used one because it doesn't hold its value as well.

Am I thinking about this poorly? Should I just pay more upfront and get the gt500? I think they both look great and that I would be equally happy owning either.

Thanks ahead of time!

Obviously I messed up the title and meant "Roush vs GT500”, but I can't edit it. Whoops!

I'm sorry for wasting your time. I just looked at a bunch of listings again... Most likely gonna get an 07 GT500.

Im not one to get to involved on how much they will hold there values. If i had a 500 id certainly drive it. Id imagine that most owners keep them garage kept and rarely drive them. Its why I stayed away from them b/c I wouldn't be too concerned with miles. Just know the more you drive it then the less it will be worth. Im not even sure how banks even do loans on such cars. After so many years they don't like giving out loans for them b/c they are considered older. If you have the financial means then by all means jump on it. If you do and go the track id tell you to get slicks for the car as your insurance will not cover an accident at the track. It is not a great idea to run on stock tires. Anyway can post a link to the one you are looking at

Roush has no credibility with blue book pricing since it is just another modified Mustang. Stick with anything Shelby in front of it.
