Diode Dynamics HID Upgrade?

Has anyone ever used or ever heard anything about Diode Dynamics halogen to HID conversion kit? I found this, https://lmr.com/item/DIO-H13HID/2005...tang-diode-dyn. I just want to make sure that this conversion kit is worth the money or I should just order a conversion kit from somewhere else.

They're no better for reflector housings than what you can get on eBay for
a fraction of the cost. I have been using cheap china HIDs in my Jettas, and
they last for at least 8 months, with 32 hours a week of all night time driving.

Mustang:
They're always on, when you put the hi beams on, the bulb is re-positioned to
allow more light exposure. There is a solenoid for the hi-beam lead to do that.
They need wired so they do not shut off when the hi-beams are selected, beause
the halogens; the lo-bream filament is turned off when the hi-beam filament is
powered.

I just bought the Raxiom projector housings. I understand that HIDs are way different than halogens, I get that, I just want to make sure I'm not going to waste my money on a conversion kit that won't work.

All the conversion kits are the same, they will just need wired right.
You're not wired for HIDs. Make sure you got the right raxiom, they sell
one for halogen, and one for HIDs. If you're gonna use HIDs, then you
need that one, because it's wired different. The Halogen are plug-n-play
since you're using the halogen bulbs.

I just replaced a 35W 6K conversion kit from RetroSolutions that I have used for about 130K miles. I replaced it with one of their kits, 55W 6K. OMG! These are some serious lights. I have the 55W kit in my '06 Mustang GT 'vert and also a 55W kit in wifeys '08 Mazda Miata. They sell good stuff.

Are you using the stock housings?
