Exhaust Leak? Rocker leak? Or??
 

I've been having this sort of ticking sound coming from the driver side of my engine and increases in speed and loudness when I accelerate. I do have after market long tube headers but I did my best to tighten the headers down and replaced the gasket. But the problem pursues, does anybody have an idea on what is causing the tick? i think It could be a bad rocker arm but people that I have went to have said conflicting things.

Try to localize the noise with a mechanic's stethoscope to help with the diagnosis.

I put a hose up to my ear and the engine and it seems to be loudest from the valve cover on the driver side closest to the firewall.
