Default How do I remove Black Rubber Cap to Get to HIDs?

I have bought a replacement HID bulb for the passenger side of my 2007 Ford Mustang V6. I had upgraded the headlights with a Ford HID Kit that I bought from Steeda many moons ago.

Has anyone replaced the HID bulbs on a similar set of Ford headlights on their Mustang?

My question is do I just pull the black rubber boot on the back off or is there another method? I'm afraid that I'll damage something if I don't do it right, and the Ford HID headlights are expensive to replace. I know that on the newer Mustangs its a cap that you twist counter-clock wise.

Please see photograph for description of the HIDs.

Let me know.

UPDATE

I went ahead and just pulled the black rubber cap off. The cap doesn't require turning it clock wise because it isn't screwed in. I just started on one end and then pulled it off. Putting the cap back on without the headlight being removed is tough since you can't see the entire thing to make sure that it is sealed up properly.
