Had a local Mustang shop put our brushed aluminum dash kit in as they had one in stock and we actually like the orginal dark air vents with chrome vent rims after we saw it all done. They used glue as we never plan to take it of...here's some pics. He did have to cut an extra hole on the door arm rest because there wasn't one for the back windows control button. I guess the Coupe's rear windows don't come down so don't have 3 window remote buttons? Showed the salesman and his buddies the car after we had this done and they too thought it made the car look nicer. Plus you get a few more pieces than the Ford packaged one has.

Here's the before...

And the after....

Wildabouthorses...

THAT looks GREAT...

NOW... go out and get a Blue/Silver or Blue/Black Carbon Fiber kit and finish the job!

I would have liked to put the sonic blue kit on the rest of it like you did yours Prof but ....hubby has the final word on what we add to the Mustang. The owner of the shop has a red kit on his interior that looked really cool with his red Mustang and that off white interior (forget the correct color name)

Wildabouthorses you car looks good with that dash kit.

Just so theres no confusion for the people out there the kit in my picture does not come with the upper silver dash sections pictured or the silver air vents, the Mustangs & GT's with the IUP option come from Ford with the silver upper dash sections and silver air vents.

The kit from SS Inserts for $225.00 ( can get it now for $145.00 another place) in my picture I installed is for people with the IUP option from Ford only, if you do not have the IUP option you will not get the upper silver dash sections that are in wildaboutshores picture in this kit.

This is my Mustang kit... but I see they no longer have the brushed aluminum at either site I have here! Wonder why they stopped carrying it in this particular kit.
This is where my kit came from...I read the box it came in so knew where they got it...

Same kit but your site professor..

You get two radio cover pieces, the one has a notch to show the words under the radio dial button on the lower left. The other piece does not have that notch so I'm guess the different radio systems had that tiny difference in them. Also I see the door handle piece shows holes for 3 window buttons on the left side but mine only had the one larger hole so they had to cut out the third hole.
