XM Radio / Ipod input adapter found 4 shaker 500
finally,
Found this adapter that lets you plug just about anything AND have it hard wired to use the AUX button on your shaker 500 system. Works like a champ. Not sure if this is a reeeeee.

Looks nice...
However, i don't see any specific mention of Shaker compatibility. There are some internal differences of the Shaker head unit versus the stock stereo. I guess that the only way to check for sure is by someone else trying it.
And I echo our esteemed moderator...what is a reeeeee exactly?

I tried it, it is curently installed in my shaker 500, works like a champ. The module pretends it is the rear sound system option, and when you push the aux button on the shaker head unit, it pipes in from that module, whatever is being fed into the module.
WAY better than FM Modulated.

Does it eliminate the annoying high frequency hiss/squeel? In other words, how is it better than the FM modulation? Did you rely on the built in FM modulator or a separate one?

I have an inline FM modulator. I scrapped the wireless FM modulator. This one provides power to the XM unit. I have had no issues with this modulator. The sound is great and the volume level has to be adjusted a tiny bit higher than the CD player. Other than that, this is a great alternative to the wireless FM modulator.
BTW: When you press the AUX button, what is displayed on the radio?

Here's another question too:
Where do you guys have the iPod connection at? Better yet, does anyone have any pics?
