Default California Dream Hood?

Anyone have any pics of their rides with the California Dream hood? Or any other a/m hood? I wish I would've seen this hood before the shop fixed repairs from some bozo who backed into it. [:'(]

Sorry to hear someone jacked your beauty up.
As far as the Cali DH I have really wanted to add that one myself but I am glad that I didn't. It is probably the best looking hood (my opinion) But... The Ford production guys decided against that concept hood because of the airflow. The grill of the car does such a fantastic job of letting air in the hood is actually getting to much air preasure applied to it. That is why the SVT has exhaust vents in the hood to help alleviate that. Also if you read the aftermarket mags they did a test drive on the Saleen and complained that the hood rattled and rattled. This is because of the airflow which is even greater in the Saleen. There is just not enough room for the air to escape. I really want an aftermarket hood myself but I am going to listen to the experts and wait until somebody produces a good exhaust hood instead of a ram air style.

But I do love that concept hood it is really cool. Too bad physics had to get in the way of style.

It sure does look good doesnt it! and functional at that. I want more input still. Also met up with a guy with a Steeda hood, he said it danced around alot. Stock hood at 120mph was totally fine. Im waiting for more input before I take a big leap into a new hood.
