What do you want in upcoming models.
Hey guys well... just wanted to see your thoughts about the upcoming models 2007~2008
well for me i think on the model 2007 there will be some little changes in the lights and some changes in the interior but nothing much
well for the 2008 im always thinking of better parts in the hood which leaves the mustang with 330 hp and not that much throttle lag..
well for 2009 im thinking there will be a beast inside the stomach something more like a 5.0 ( new generation )
lets hear what you think ?
i know it's just some thoughts but i think its fun to hear something that will make us keep waiting with a big smile

RE: What do you want in upcoming models.
I would like to see...
- Full across tail lights like on the old Shelbys
- hood with the duel low pressure air intakes.
- 2 tone combo color seat options with center inserts that match the exterior of the car.
- Factory Shaker - intercooled Intake.
- Factory IRS option for buyers that want to configure the car to be a Road/Track Car. (GT does stand for Grand Touring!)
- Reconfigured Rear Wheel Wells designed to allow for 15" wide drag slicks.
- Battery moved to the rear.
- Combo Digital/Analog Gauges and Engine Data included in the Information Menu Options.
- Rear C Vent made into a real rear brake cooler vent.
- Front brake cooler vent added.

RE: What do you want in upcoming models.
1) Oil pressure and temp gauges that work properly and are graduated. None of this "Low ---- High" stuff.
2) Air conditioning delete option.
3) Delete options for frivolous things like power adjustable outside mirrors and power adjustable drivers seat. Manual adjustments for these items would be fine with me.
4) Choice of final drive ratio. Examples: 3.31, 3.55, 3.73, 391, or 4.11's with the Auto or the manual
5) Choice of factory installed or even dealer installed "Drag Pack" like what Ford Racing has on thier web site.
6) Trunk mounted battery. (even though it was good moving it to the firewall, the trunk would be even better)
7) Choice of 4.6, 5.0 or 5.4 liter engines. The 5.0 DOHC "Cammer" would be a nice option.
8) Choice of the Tremec 3650 (current 5 speed offering) or the Tremec T56 (6 speed manual)
9) A darker forest green like what was used on the "Bullit" Mustangs a few years ago.
10) Stereo delete option for those who wish to install thier own system.
11) Rear seat delete option.
12) A stronger V6 option for the V6 buyers. Example. Keep the present 210 hp V6 but maybe offer a 230 - 240 hp version for a little extra cash.
13) All models should have a cargo net. My El-Cheapo winter beater, a 1991 Cavalier has this. My Mustang should have had one too.
14) A light in the glove box.

I love all of the above, not that ford will ever do that stuff.[&o] I want a 2008 Mach 1 with 68' "hips" like in these pics.
