although i have a question i noticed u drag race ur car alot and installed the hood pins on stock hood..why is that ? i mean hood is still same weight and a litle hood opening peice wont add that much weight so did u do it for looks or is there other things ?


ohh and yes ur right we need a sticky how to post that show for example installing most of the mods and accesories

I installed them mainly for the looks but other than that it does help significantly with keeping the hood from shaking at high speeds which the car, from the numberous other threads on the shake issue, is very prone to.

Nice write-up. My only edit would be, you don't have to remove the bumper and drill the bottom support rail hole that big. I drilled through both sides of the support rail, with the same size bit. Then, working one side-at-a-time, I removed the raidator support bracket. Carefully using a coat hanger, I was able to push the bottom nut, inside the support rail and under the drilled hole. Using the hanger, I was able to hold the side of the nut, while I started to thread the pin. Was actually very easy to due, just take your time pushing the nut inside the support rail, as the nut can drop down the sides of it. Making it hard to get back out. Other than that, the instructions look good!

u guys r brave,i would be freakin out drilling a hole in my hood, i want them but my pay for a pro, im to scared to that myself and would never forgive myself for screwing up.
