I paid $500 under MSRP. Mine was originally ordered for another customer; who could not get financing approved, There are several V6's at the local dealer, with very generous discounts showing on the the windshields. I have not seen another GT at the dealer since I picked mine up in September. Winter has arrived in Minnesota, and you can imagine what that does to most new mustang sales, especially convertibles.

Ordered mine back in Sept. Just called the Ford automated status line at 1-800-962-3746 and gave it the Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement (DORA) info. The message was "Your unit has arrived at the ramp". Can anyone tell me what that means?

Area of the country probably makes a big difference in price. Here in the Washington DC area GT verts aren't on any lots, you have to order to get one. When I ordered I checked with about 8 dealers and all wanted MSRP except for one in MD who wanted $300 under MSRP and two in VA who wanted thousands over MSRP!!!! I finally ordered from a dealer in MD who wanted $500 (refundable) to order and $300 under MSRP to buy. Maybe I should have bought in MN and driven it home.

If you put a deposit down and you get a reciept with the cost of the car on it, they have to give you that car at that price for 7 days after they recieve it. After 7 days they can sell it to anyone for any price.

Ok, thanks for the heads up.

Do you know what it means when the Ford Lady recording says "Your Unit Has Arrived At The Ramp"?

It means clean out the garage and order your mods. It should be there any day.

I worked at a car dealership when I purchased mine Stang. I got it at A-Plan which it was MSRP $28,175.00 and got her for $25,500.00. At first the dealership was going to let me have her for A-Plan, but I went to the top...lol. Of course I wasn't suppose to let anyone know I got her so cheap, but I no longer work for that dealership so oh well....lol.
