Default Why no Billy Boat exhaust posts?

I know the Billy Boat stuff is high-dollar but it is VERY good quality stuff. Last time I priced the axle-back for the 05-06 Mustang it was around $700-$750.

They have 4" rolled tips that look phenominal! I have a few guys that come through my shop with the BB exhaust on Corvettes, Escalades and Tahoes and the all sound incredible. At idle, it has the same sound as a powerboat idling in the water...very low and very "thumpy" for lack of a better description.

The website is www.bbtriflo.com. The sound file for the 2005 Mustang doesn't sound that great. They rev the motor too high and the engine noise stands out over the exhaust. The first time they rev the motor in the clip sounds the best 'cause they don't go too high with the revs.

Did a search over the past year and found nothing regarding Billy Boat. Just curious why there hasn't been a reference. Too much $$$?

Considering that they want over $1,100 for their AXLE_BACK setup, I can understand why no one has them. That is the kind of stuff for people who just have to have the most expensive of everything they can find.

The webiste has an "Order Now" link that incorrectly takes you to the price of exhaust for a BMW M Roadster which MSRP is $1,100.00.

I have priced that axle-back at a few different retailers at $700-$750. Still expensive but quality stuff.

Does ANYONE have it???

The Billy Boats are of fantastic quality, but I just don't like the sound of them. Not loud enough, and too ricer. I pass.

wow, I wondered what happened to Billy, one hell of a racer, kinda suprized that he is working with high end cars considering that he was a dirt car driver (sprints, migits) before racing Indy cars

I have them, and actually love them. I was expecting them to be a little ricey because of Billy's forte, but they are actually one of the best exhausts I have heard behind the HP robbing flowmasters. Magnas are a distant 3rd, nothing special about them, decent sound but don't stand out in a crowd. Mac are decent, a little loud.

from the vid on the website, it sounds like stock.
when you can hear the engine noise over the exhaust, that means the exhaust is quiet.
especially when the vid is taken from the rear.
