Default Rattle from right rear??

Seeking info on the infamous right rear rattle. This seems to be a very common issues and was hoping to find the common solution if there is one. I actually heard this in 3 of the 4 GTs I test drove and I have it in the one I purchased (2006 GT) Sounds like a dull rattle from the right rear, like a loose shock or something. Only occurs when going slow over rough pavement.

I've checked the rear seats...no help, the spare tire / jack..no help....

Any thoughts?

It is probably that beer bottle the disgruntled ford factory worker welded into the rear quarterpanel after he found out that ford is cutting his job to save money.

Does it have the skipper1000 in it? It could possibly be the sub box.

Thanks guys....It does sound like it could be a loose exhaust clamps?? I'll check them and see if anything is loose.

Sure does seems strange that so many of these cars have this rattle?? I sure hope all the really important stuff is tight!!

I have the rattle on the right side also. It seems to happen sometimes when I accelerate. I also have something rolling around (Probably some lost change). I read somewhere in a forum that it may deal with a small loose piece around the side airbags.

Please let us know if you get the rattle fixed as I have tried to find the dang thing with no luck. I've even considered riding in the trunk while my wife slowly drives over our less than smooth road. It's really annoying.
