Default TSB For Seat Trim??

Anybody have any details on this:

05-19-10
LOOSE SEAT CUSHION COVER TRIM ON FRONT OF FRONT SEAT

I have this problem with my S281 on the drivers side. The front cover is loose under my legs, and I can't seem to figure out it attaches up under there [&:] Is this something that has to be replaced or is there a simple DIY fix to it??

you can do it yourself. it involves bending the metal bracket that holds the trim slightly, and inserting a dime to check for correct clearance. I've seen the TSB somewhere...

Yup, a dime, as in $0.10. Now that is some fine engineering! At least Ford doesn't require a special $1000 tool to do it!

I had them fix both of my front seats. They had to pull the seats to do it. If the seat cover gets torn for some reason it's there problem that's why I did not try to fix it myself.

Wow - talk about a HIGH TECH TSB Needle nose pliers & a DIME - I think they left out the duct tape [8D]

Thanks for the link - I've just been double-bending my flap under to keep it in place.
