Ok, I can't remember who asked for pictures but he also owns a Black on Black GT so I'm starting a new thread. Here are some pictures of my new '06 GT Black on Black, the side stripes will be added soon, haven't decided if they should be Mustang GT or GT500 or what or even if I should add the side stripes or not.
I'm open to suggestions, oh yeah, the dealer sticker is coming off real soon, it makes the back look even more busy than it already is. I wish it didn't look like a mouth in back where the stripe goes around the plate area.

thanks. Looks awesome.
That's right, you asked!! Sorry Mike, I forgot it was you.
no prob. I appreciate the pics. Your car looks cool with the stripes and the blacked out headlights.

Are those the stock lamps in the grille?

Thanks Mike! Nothing has been done to the headlights, the weather makes it look dark. Everything is stock right now.

I'm really a newbi.
How did you do the stripes? Did they remove the spoiler, bumpers/grill to paint them? How much did it cost?

[sm=exactly.gif] I took her out to take pictures and it started snowing as soon as I closed the door. It's as if there is someone with a button! I put her away as soon as I was done. Damn snow!

It's not a GT, it's my wifes new "Pony V6". I gotta admit, Ford did a great thing offering this option, my wife loves it and it moves and handles great, perfect for her. I'll be adding an MRT Cold Air Intake to her car as well as a Plenum Cover this Spring.

For 2006, Ford debuts the new "Pony Package" on V-6 coupe and convertible "Premium" models. At a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,195, the Mustang V-6 "Pony Package" offers tremendous performance value, adding the following equipment:

Customized "Pony" grille encompassing GT-model-like round fog lamps and a chrome bezel around the traditional Mustang prancing horse
GT-inspired suspension featuring a larger front stabilizer bar, the addition of a rear stabilizer bar and P235/55ZR 17-inch tires on painted cast aluminum wheels with bright machined rims and unique tri-bar Pony center caps – the largest wheels and tires ever fitted to a V-6 Mustang
Pony front fender badges, lower door tape stripe and carpeted front floor mats with special brushed chrome "Mustang" logos and a rear spoiler
4-wheel disc brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control

The dealer had them put on as part of my order, the cost is an insane $995.00 including top and sides. It's unfortunately not painted, I regret this since it leaves part of the rear plate area black and kinda funny looking in my opinion.

I like the stripes going all the way down, but (like most everyone who's posted so far) I'm not a fan of the stripes on the side if you're also striping down the middle.
