I've been listening to this rattle forever (well, one of the rattles, as a lot of the car makes strange noises)... it's in the doors.

Apparently, it's the piece behind the door handle on the inside. If you think of the little area where the door handle is as a room, it's the far wall. It's not securely affixed to the rest of the thing and it rattles all the time... both doors.

What a major pain having to listen to that everywhere I go.

Anyone else noticed this? Do you have any idea what part I'm talking about?

I know what the part it is hides a torx screw that holds on the door panel, I imagine you could use some type of adhesive to secure it.

Is that what it is? I was thinking about throwing some crazy glue in the bottom of it or something just to keep it from rattling... drives me crazy.

I hear rattles from the dash sometimes, too, but I figure it'd be a miracle if I ever got them narrowed down.

I love my car, but it's a pretty rattly one, that's for sure.

I'm so sick of the rattle in the back that I'm considering getting rid of this car and getting something with much better quality control. I promised myself almost twenty years ago I would never own a Ford again. Now I'm starting to regret giving Ford another chance. You can bet it won't happen again.

had that same deal with my '03 GT but this one is great. I hear of alot of guys who got complete lemons. Happens with all cars though. My father had an 03 Audi A8 that was a complete lemon, then he traded it on an 05 A8 and this car has been excellent.
