Default Intake cover for 2006 4.6

I have seen pictures of a polished aluminum cover that fits over the intake on top of motor. Down both sides are 'powered by ford' with a 'pony' on the front. Does anyone know where one of these can be bought. Any replies would be great. They look good on motor.

Thanks!!

not a fan of the polished but i do like the midwest gear plastic cover. it looks like the one ford had on the concept car and has the correct gt emblem embossed. try ebay. i'm not spending 100 bucks though... if it doesn't add hp or remove weight then i'm not buying it!!

Here is one that I have on mine. It's from Midwest also and I have no problems of overheating.

Here's mine....from Midwest as well. No overheating issues. The pony was $20 off ebay. I don't think you'll find the powered by ford one, it was on the prototype. If you wait long enough, someone may make it.

Not sure how this will trap heat? It's a cover over the plastic runners on the intake, even Ford had one on the pre-production model and removed it probably because of cost.

Alot of the other car makers are putting these on their cars. Alot of them even cover the whole top part of the engine. So there should not be any overheating problems.
