Update again.....Just spoke to the dealership and they informed me that they can't seem to locate the right part. They are at a stand still at the moment. I spoke to the parts mgr and he said that he has ordered 3 different wiring harnesses and none of them have been the right one. So now they have stopped trying to locate the part until the Ford Engineer comes in today. Once he comes in and checks the Mustang out he will call me. So hopefully he gets this done today. That scenario does seem to fit for sure Truxtum, "Having the carrot so close then being beat with the stick"....and I am getting tired of being beaten for sure.

Like someone said above, demand a new gt to drive while you are being jached around by this dealer. I have had some bad experiences with dealers, and it is now time for you to get nasty. Tell them they have forced you to persue a lemon law situation for your car. Tell them the situation has become unreasonable and unethical. I'd get back on the phone with Ford's national consumer customer service division, and BITCH! The squeeky wheel gets the grease. (I'm getting tired of typing that) Good luck, and it is now time for you to get nasty. I wouldn't have ever let it get this far if it was me.

UPDATE!!!
Well guys just got a call from the service mgr......seems the Ford engineer figured out what was wrong with my Stang. I will have to let you guys know exactly what it was, because when the service mgr called me from his cell phone and it was cutting out so I didn't understand the whole thing. All I do know is he is going to drive it home to check things out and he will call me in the am. I did understand him to say that it was in the one wiring harness they had NOT changed, something about a wire not being snug to something and it was causing it to heat up and then the security sys would shut the engine down. I will find out for sure tomorrow and let everyone know. Thanks everyone, this is the best news I have had in over a month.

Thanks,
Tammy

Hey everyone I went and picked up my Stang. OHHHHH what a feeling to be back in her....she ran perfect. I know it may be early but I am thinking positive, I am going forward and not looking back. The dealership had her waiting right out front all cleaned up and gased up. I spotted her right off....they had her for so long the inspection sticker was expired....had to go get one right away. I didn't get to see the service mgr. to find out the whole story but I will and will post the findings.... hopefully after that last post that will be the last for this thread. Once again thanks Fordv and all.

<<Happy me!!

I just wanted to update everyone on my Stang....and I am thinking this is the last one for this thread. The discovered that it was a loose pin in the wiring harness. The repaired the problem and I am back on the road with my Stang. I am so happy things worked out for the best. I have had her for over a week and she is running good.... I got a call from the Mustang engineer checking on my Stang and I told him that it looks like she is running good. He also wants me to call him in a few months and give him a update. So Thanks so much for everyones help. I am on the road again....lol....
