You dont have to get it tuned but you can. Id suggest an Intake and a tune to get the most bang for your buck. I have SLPs with the Tunable Induction Intake, and SCT Xcal2 tune for 93octane.

Then a tune will definitely give you a bit of a boost. Not necessarily due to the new exhaust, but moreso over the stock tune.
