Default My Color - Low Fuel Color

Ok, so I'm using blue as my gauge color, when the fuel level gets low enough to give a warning it turns the gauge red. Has anybody used the color red for their gauges and if so noticed if the fuel gauge then switches to a different color like blue when fuel gets low?

I know this may be a silly question but it makes sense to me somehow that if you're using red, turning the gauge red won't help much when fuel gets low (even though the computer warns you as well).

Those of us without MyColor have to rely on the little orange gas pump. Well, that and the very visible fuel guage.

Easy way to find out... the next time your fuel gauge turns red just change your gauge color to red to see what happens. I never keep mine at red because it makes using your peripheral vision on the gauges too difficult.

I have "mycolor" and my low fuel thing came on the other day for the first time and it was green just like the anything else on the message centre.

I was only just under a quarter tank though. Maybe as you get more towards empty it turns red.

I have my gauges set to red and they never changed when the gas got low. Next spring I'm gonna turn them to blue and see what happens.

The message in the message center does not change color. The illumination of the gauge is what changes color

Mine turns red when I have less than 10 miles to empty.

For reference, my fuel gauge doesn't change color until I hit about 12 miles from E.
