Serious question on mufflers

Serious question on mufflers
I have an 05 automatic deluxe Mustang GT. I bought Mac mufflers while back and hated how they sounded when they hit about 1800 rpms due to the resonation or however you spell it inside the car. Are there any mufflers out there for an Automatic that sound good but dont resonate and make that terrible droaning noise around those RPMS? I just hate how it sounds stock.

RE: Serious question on mufflers
Dear Eoli,
I also have the MACs axlebacks on my automatic and inspite of the drone (live with it or change the mufflers), all high performance muffler setups will drone...
Specially with the automatic, but you will not find an axleback muffler that has as much BIG BLOCK sound as the MACs do...
Try another brand of muffler, get back on this forum and report what you find... I'd be very interested!!!
Good Luck, Dave
