You may want to wait till spring and check out the AVIC-Z1.

I still have a feeling they wont let you play dvds or enter new directions while driving.. =-/.. hummm.. could be with the wait.. thanks for the link. I was thinking about the D1

i'll call my pioneer rep tomarrow to mke sure, but it looks like this unit is a replacement for the AVIC-N2, not fo the D1, which means that this is a flip-out unit and not a double din unit.
I'll let you all know as soon as I find out.

Yup, the Z1 looks awesome... the nice thing about this now though is that the D1 is gong to be dropping in price!
