Key Fob: (inside the car if that fails for some reason)

There are foreign models out there (Acura for one) with no external lock; specifically done for cleaner design. ...nothing new.

anyone take off their spoiler? how much did it cost to fill/paint the wholes?

also, anyone in OC know a good paint shop that will do it?

thanks..

Not to get off subject, but I was going to have the holes filled on my '06 so I could use the typical ducktail spoiler until I found this. I think this looks awesome (very similar to the Shelby spoiler on the '07) and it uses the factory mounting holes so no filling is necessary. Just wanted to point out another possible way to go...

Company is called GEF Racing (http://www.GEFRacing.com) and no they don't offer it painted. The price is about the same as other ducktails ($299.95); I'll post picks once it arrives and gets installed. The previous picture is actually from their website.

If you can get the holes filled (welded) and the decklid redone (base & clear) for $200; grab it. Since the deckid will be repainted, lose the GT ornament (fake gas cap) and lock.

This is not my GT pictured above, although mine is going in for paint this weekend. I have just completed fab work shaving antenna, GT fender emblems, decklid GT ornament and lock, along with mirrors prepped for paint.

Mine before any mods (except ProKit rear only)

What type of antenna are you installing to replace the stock? very enterested in that if it's an option...

Rezalien: Tune Trapper $29.95. I tested and all FM 1 & 2 presets came in just as clear, even in the garage; you'll get little to no AM reception. I have it neatly slid under the dash. They do offer money back guarantee but I love this thing. No power required. http://daytonasp.com/ven/ecshylites/...nna-tt1e.shtml

stangxs: There are two small alignment holes for the decklid ornament. If they will take care of the spolier holes, these two small holes and the lock hole all for $600 that's an excellent price. The reason I didn't hesitate on the decklid ornament and lock is that I can easily drill and put back if I want... ...but to have this setup... ...well you got somethin that will separate you from every other GT you run into. ...not the case with aftermarket purchases you can make. ...you get the idea.

If you order spoiler delete from ford, no, there are no holes..

I ordered a spoiler delete, but they did it wrong and ordered a spoiler [sm=lame.gif]
