MygtRoush; I put 20's on mine about three weeks ago and the ride didn't change I also lowered the car 1.5" front and rear And the ride got better. Pics in closed bottom line if you like 20's then go with it and don't worry about what people think it's your ride build it, drive like you wont it.

Legend: Awesome mods; love the body kit work; hood, grill. That's gonna be incredible when painted. (You're gonna paint the mirrors right?). Anyway great job you are doing.

As I said I didn't ride in my friends car when he had the 20's just going based upon what he said. Of couse this is in Massachusetts where roads are rough (even highways can be tough) ...not sure where you are. I would expect the handling to be better but I wasn't referring to handling. Say, maybe it's just the pics but it almost looks like stock space between tire and wheelwell. The diameter of the stock tire is just over 27". Were your pics taken before or after lowering? Do you know the diameter of your tires? What mfg and kit did you end up using on lowering springs?

You are right. Do what makes you happy! we all have our own preferences and that's what makes this whole thing such a blast!!! Keep up the great work on your ride!!!

Well when I got my car, I had no intentions of making it rice...
Said earlier, the 20s do fit the gap, and wrapped in Nittos make her stick quite nicely!
Also with what Martin123 said, I'm not able to rotate the tires as well.
The ride isn't as rough as I thought, but there is alittle more noise though.
I don't care if other people don't like my car.. -I- like my car..

Awesome look blackNchrome05. (IMO) I'm sure handling is much improved over stock.

My comments about potential harsher ride come from experience (and frustration) with roads here in the Northeast that are simply terrible. ...but I like the 4 seasons and the ocean so I still live here (lol).

thanks fairlane

handling is a lot better...but it's not so great on smooth riding. roads that i had orginally thought were flat turned out to have a lot of little bumps that i never knew about. as for handling though... i know a guy with a 04 v6 vert. he took right hand turn at a stoplight (light was green) @ about 30 mph(maybe more?)... swung out his back end and skidded. i took the same turn about 100 feet behind him at the same speed, no skidding or body roll whatsoever. i love it!

I have 20" on my ride and noticed no diff in ride quality. A little more noise but the CAI and the Corsa muffs drown it out.

20 X 9 Black Rhino Burst wrapped with Toyo Proxy S/Ts

Also, too much reference to rice on this site, do what you like to make your ride what you want it to be, ignore the rest

I have 20" GTR wheels on my ride. 275's on the front and 315's on the back. I love it! I had to lose the eibachs cause the were too low. The Steeda springs allow the rears to rub occasionally on a big dip and I am not sure how to get around that. For sure you need to do your homework on the tire size and spring combo you are putting on as it could very well rub.

macca,
How about some pics from the rear of the car. Would love to see what it looks like with 315's in the rear.

The new Saleens come with 20' rims and look pretty good. -But I would get 19's on the premise that rubber is cheaper and you have more 19' options than 20' options.
