Best Throttle Body?!?

RE: Best Throttle Body?!?
none. seriously i would wait for a while. there seems to be many problems with all different manufacturers right now. you may not even need one depending on your combination. unless your pushing a bunch of boost or spraying it hard it's most likely going to have no effect on power. i even read a post about losing hp with an aftermarket t/b. save the money and put it towards something that is proven to make power/sound or look good. stock is a twin 56mm! i think that is the size the aftermarket companies make for the ls1/2 gm cars...and we get it from the factory! if i get a chance ill take mine off and give it to my machinist so he can flowbench it just to see what cfm it flows. my guess about 650cfm...more than enough for a 281 cid engine making under 400hp.

Best throttlebody for your car is the one that came on it from the factory. Several threads from several reputable tuners that have posted zero gains on the dyno after a TB install and tune. Not to mention the spring problems some of them are having.
