It took a couple of mechanics 2 and a half days to install it?? [:-] .. If you knew me you would know that I suck with doing anything.. ahah.. its the lazy bug. I had a friend help me(he did most work but it was the first install for him.(I was taking pictures.. haha) The SC install should take 8-10 hours. It took us about that much time because for me the damn ford steal hose clamp busted(pos) and made us waste an hour trying to get that off =-/. haha.. Anyway, I'm not bagging on you.. your happy with what you got and those are nice numbers.. I'm just telling people not to cut themselfs short and try to save them 1200 bucks.
here are my install pic for ya grabbem88 :

lostsoul, well some of us aren't so mechanicaly inclined and don't have the time. I work 6 days a week and having a warranty with Vortec and the install was peace of mind and well worth it!
It took those guys 2 1/2 days and they specialize in superchargers.
I'm sure it would have took me 6 Sundays to do it... or more... and expect it to run? Ha![&:]
I'm very satisfied with the Vortec and with its conservative tune knowing it has the potential to push 500rwhp, just check out chevykillers efforts...

The install time on this system is 12 to 16 hours, they charged me for 14.
The front bumper and grills had to be removed for the cooler install and it looked like it had been in a wreck the second day I popped in. They also had to remount the coolant resevoir to accomidate the strut tower.
I've seen your site an am very impressed with your car, have you had a chance to dyno?
351pony: I have a neighbor that works at Shelby here in Vegas and he recomended the Vortec for reliablility and room to modify. Plus Shelby has put it on their 2006 V6 Cobra, if he trust it well....

Cool, I'm also the first here in Vegas to install the Vortec (i think), at least with the clubs I've seen around.
My 1st run was close to yours @395.89rwhp after install. I chose to let the computer react to the newly found power before going back to dyno and sure enough it ran rich after 2 weeks and droped to a 10 a/f on the chart @409.98. (1st run).
They leaned it out on the second and third pulls on the Predator to 11.9 a/f @429.78 and finally 12.4 a/f @438.87rwhp[8D]
We both will have alot of fun tweeking these in the near future so keep in touch.
