i got mine from summit racing as well
here are some pics....install took <1 hour..............I attached the lanyards to the headlight bolt.

chop chop i also used a cut off wheel and a large reamer to make those egg shaped holes. measured about 20 times too. then just started cutting into fiberglass. definitely harder install but they are different and they did stop my hood from lifting at 60 mph. rock solid now to 120 mph!

OK, after further review, the straight on angle of GLoves' pic makes it look like the pins are further up than the first pic. My bad. They still look slick, though.

Hey Gloves, are you planning on using the lanyards?? Do you have to use them? I'm in the market to buy pins and yours look great, but I personally don't like the lanyards...

Not going to put them on, don't have to use them either. the ring on the pin holds them
on your hood. Just make sure to pocket the pins while at the gas stations checking your
oil. Don't wanna loose them.
