Well the old mustang is now 8 - 0 its young life (1,100 miles). Mach I was no problem stop light to stop light. I was called out at the local hangout by a 520rwhp LT-1 (yea right) It sounded good but it was on street tires and from my past LT-1's I figured 12.50 was about all he had. I took him and about 20 others out to the track. The track was cold and slick because we were closed. Keep in mind this hates fords. We lined them up got the hand flag and the mustang went up in smoke from a half pedal dead idle launch. I feathered it the car shifted to 2nd and put her down, wrong answer it went up in smoke again. The car spun so bad in second it shifted to 3rd at about 150ft. out. At this point he has about 2 on me. I kept the car on the floor thinking it would just lug through 3rd but to my surprise it shifted back to 2nd and hooked. I caught him at the 1/8 and put about 6 on him by the 1/4. He said he held 3rd to long so we did it again and I babied it through first and second for kill #2. He accused me of spraying because I went by so fast after his early lead. He said he was getting work done this week so I needed to be ready. Looks like I may need to get some tires and show him what this baby will really do.

Very, very nice kill! What boost are you running? Share your setup and other specs if you dont mind. I am getting ready to put my Saleen S/C in next weekend and am always looking for ideas and tips.

Nice Kills - but try not to find my car if you want to keep your perfect record.... LOL

EDIT - Saleen does get some slack on this site (by myself included) so it would help others if your share your set-up. I'm still waiting for someone to show me the saleens can hang. I know they have the potential - hope to see someone take advantage of it.

I'm running the 9lb pulley 39lb injectors CAI, MAF and the JDM program . Charger from saleen all other from JDM. I'm just waiting for JDM and others to do some additional tuning and figure out the fuel issues. Then I'm calling you out killer. I didn't get a chance to run it this past Sunday we were just to busy (205 cars and 1,000 specs.) I'm going to run some race gas and see if I could be getting some detonation that I'm not hearing. For the first time I heard the waste-gate opening and closing and I think it could have been caused by detonation. I'm looking for 116-120 on the big end. Has anyone with an auto seen advantages with the 3.73's or the 4.10's?

^+1, Unless you want a machine dedicated soley to removing the treads off your tires, because then 4.10's would be great.

I can only imagine. The car is spinning really bad in 2nd sometimes all the way until it shifts to third. It seems as if the program is sensing the spin and shifting . The TC is off and I'm not getting above 6K RPM.
