Car won't turn on after SCT tune!
got the x-cal 2 from brenspeed, installed my c&l, and did the C&L 91 Octane tune from brenspeed, the car won't turn on!
I re-tuned it back to stock form, and it turns on fine... I don't want to run the car on stock tune with the c&l in, and I don't want to take the c&l off right now.. anyone have or heard of this problem, can anyone email me the right tune for a 2006 GT 5-speed Manual?

it's the old tune.. I told him I was going to install my c&l today, and he said it's fine, the tune will work, we just need to adjust a couple of things.. but he said the current tune should work fine..

Ugh...congrats on the new mods, but sad to hear your troubles.
Did you try to flash it with any of the other tunes on the Xcal2? You probably have more than one to choose from, right? Maybe a different octane rating but still for the C&L?

yeah, I tried the other tunes also, none worked...
How bad is it to drive your car with the c&l without a tune?
I just took it around the block, and it feels like it lost power...

Cars are generally tuned rich from the factory. So bolt-ons minus a cam swap will generally not lean your car out bad.

i heard that with the C&L being so much bigger than the stock MAF and tube, that you will have some lean issues... might want to get it fixed ASAP if you care about your car!

This happened to my car this weekend with one of Doug's tunes. Turned out that my 4 digit calibration code was different than every other manual transmissioned car he has done. He is sending me a new xcal2 so I had to take the JLT out. FWIW, the combo was ordered before the car was delivered.
