I'm surprised to hear people are still waiting weeks/months for Mustangs. I bought my '06, GT Premium, MT off the dealer's lot. There are several dealers in the area with GT's on their lot.

Don't think it will be too long. Ordered my convertible on 01/06/06 and dealer said it is built and being shipped by 02/16/06. Of course I ordered an auto and I heard the manual trans orders were taking longer.
Ha ha-
I think only women should be seen in a lipstick red, (I mean er torch red) mustang whether it has a manual or automatic!
Driving an automatic GT is like marrying an ugly women. Who does that? Auto's should only be equipped with V6's so your girlfriend or wifey can drive it too. my 0.02 cents.

Congrats on the new ride.
I picked up my 06 vert last week. I just saw it last night at the painters shop and it is really depressing seeing my shiny black car(100 miles) with the paint all sanded down ready for striping. Talk about stress! I hope it is done soon!!!
