Saleen suspension install?

Saleen suspension install?
Do I need special tools to install the Saleen suspension package? Can I do it myself or should I have a shop do the job? Just put 20" wheels and 255/35/20 tires on my '06 GT and I want to close up the fender gap. I'm pretty good with a wrench but I don't have any spring compresors or special tools

You are going to need a spring compressor for the front spring/strut setup. The rear is a piece of cake. It is a easy job to complete if you have some mechanical skills and the proper tools. Just make sure you don't remove the center nut on top of the mount/strut tower when removing the assy from the car. Good Luck!!!

RE: Saleen suspension install?
Interceptor, Can you tell me what the drop would be after installing your Saleen Suspension package? I just bought the 7 spoke wheels and tires and will install the same setup. Also, did you find the package cheaper than Saleen's price of $799? I plan on letting my dealership install the mod, just need some more specs as Saleen's site does not give this info. Also, did you get the larger sway bar in your package as well?
Thanks

RE: Saleen suspension install?
I have a 05 s281 and I can tell you the 20's + the suspension puts the wheels real close to the fender, it's a great look, and lowers the car 1-1.5" I think. Another idea if you want some real pictures is to surf ebay for and 06 Saleen. Many dealers have real good close-up pictures of the wheels and you can see the spacing to the fender. Good luck
