Dropping Pony and suspension
Guys, on the February edition of MMFF a 2005 Mustang was dropped an inch using “INTRAX” lowering springs. Amazingly enough, even dropping the Stang 1 inch, they recommended (although not necessary) shocks and struts (for ride quality) which put my mind at ease because I’m installing the Tokico D-Specs with the Eibach Pro-kit.
I know that the adjustable pan hard bar has been an issue in this forum for a while when talking about lowering the car. That edition recommended the installation of the adjustable pan hard bar, particularly when lowering the car and/or putting wider tires (even a one inch drop).
I hope this information can clarify some doubts on whether or not to install the adjustable pan hard bar. I know a lot of you guys (like myself) are not only dropping the car but are also going with wider tires.
