Default RE: need advice on chrome valve covers

I just recently had my valve covers Black krinkle powder coated by a local Coating company in CT for $80.00.I think they came out real nice. Here is a picture before i put them back on the car. As all have stated not difficult to remove 14- 8mm bolts on each cover. You need to disconnect some plugs and I took all the coil packs out need a 7mm socket for that.I did a bone head move down to the last bolt on drivers side to tighten up and the socket on a nine in extension slip off the rachect and fell down in the engine compartment.Do you think I could find it NO NO NO.Had to jack up the car on stands and look see.Found it slid down some how in to the K member just below the steering rack with no chance of getting it out until I drop the rack. So be carefull.Anyway i like the way it came out.
