So, would your advice be to leave the car out when hail is forecast? That would be a good way to get the hood painted. Lol! From your experience does $350 to paint the hood black like your's and then clearcoat the entire hood sound reasonable? My wife likes the idea of painting the hood instead of adding stripes and of course she is right. lol

I don't advise anyone to leave their car out in the hail storm. I was at work and there was nothing that I could do except watch. I think $350 is reasonable taken into consideration the time it takes to tape off the hood like you want it.
